We entered the lock with 2 other boats who had clearly done this many times before. Everything is always new on a circumnavigation which can make it a bit stressy occasionally.
A good journey to Whitby with a light SW which meant motoring some of the way.
Whitby is a gorgeous port. You enter the inner harbour by way of a swing bridge on the hour and half hour.
Home to Captain Cook and Dracula. Lots of tiny streets to explore.
