Sailed from Port Ellen to Loch Tarbert
Slight problem with the tides through the Sound of Islay as can be seen from the speed on Navionics below. Followed local advice but this seemed to get lost in translation.
Amazing rock dodging to get into inner Loch Tarbert.
.. where we found Nessie which is why they are still looking in Loch Ness ..
Beautiful safe spot to sit out bad weather but no communications at all apart from our VHF radio so we listened avidly to the MSI reports.
