Tobermory to Arisaig

Monday 10 May 2021



We waited anxiously in the morning for the tide to turn north to take us round the notorious Ardnamurchan Point with its heavy seas and overfalls. We were a bit surprised when the neighbouring boat set off about 4 hours earlier - they didn’t seem to think tides were a problem .. as it turned out AP was a pussy cat and we sailed past smoothly.

Then we negotiated the entrance into Arisaig which is a classic sea loch with rocky entrance - very wiggly.
